Mr. Rogers, of course women have lied about rape, but referring to how a woman dresses on a date in the same sentence about false claims of rape after a sexual encounter has a whiff of the “she was asking for it” justification. (imo)
Sometimes they ARE asking for it. And guys will look at clothing as a hint. If she isn’t wearing underwear & is falling out of her top, the average 19 year old male considers that a fairly strong hint that “I’m available”.
And when she is in a military dorm with a guy she invited in, and they drink together and are seen in the hallways with their arms around each other, and there is no sign of force & people in the room next to them hear no screams or sounds of a struggle, and they have sex...was she raped?
Maybe. Maybe not.
Was she asking for it?
Well, she created a reasonable doubt that she WASN’T asking for it.
