I found one half acre parcel that was assessed at $18,000 two yeas ago that is assessed at $2600 today. Over the last few years this guy has bought over 3000 acres in the area at rock bottom prices and then selling it to the state at a hefty profit.
The big winner in this lottery was Domino's farms (Of Dominoe's Pizza) They're selling 54 acres at $2.275 million.
