Legitimate rape would be forcible rape not including statutory or some cases of date rape.
As a former speaker for Right to Life, I understood what he meant. Poor word choice but he is correct.
Correct about the part that if a woman is actually raped, her body will prevent her from getting pregnant?
Then he should have said forcible rape for one.
And what ways does the female body have of shutting down a resulting pregnancy?
It takes an egg and a sperm to impregnate, the circumstances of the arrival of such doesn’t matter a hill of beans.

If a woman is raped by a man, consequently impreganated by that man, and then does not want to give birth to the baby, then that is between her, the doctor, and God and no one else.
But there is NO WAY that a woman’s body has a defense against pregnancy - under any circumstances.
