The first eight members of the jury in the Jacquetta Simmons trial were selected today in an day-long session aimed at weeding out those who may not be able to fairly weigh evidence in the case.
Local and regional media coverage of the 27-year-old Simmons, who allegedly punched a 70-year-old employee of Walmart on Christmas Eve, has been intense and each prospective juror was asked how he or she found out about the case.

What did the 70-year old say to sweet Jacquetta to so humiliate ansd disrespect her that she was driven to deliver a roundhouse to the 70-year old oppressor? After all, Jacquetta’s ancestors were enslaved, you know.
Don’t you know that they ALWAYS solve all their minor differences with others by the use of violence or threats of violence. It’s all they know.

Crap like this is getting old. And why is there a trial? Was it not on video? Nothing the old lady could have said warrants a punch by a 27 year old gangbanger. I hope the old lady is sueing Walmart for hiring the animal.
I guess the defense is going to be something along the lines of racial profiling.
Kind of like blacks are always playing the race card as being pulled over by cops is referred to as driving while black.
Jacquetta is going to claim that she was asked for a receipt because the only thing that she was guilty of was shopping while black.
The problem is I doubt even if they could reunite the O J jury, that she is going to get a pass, because 26 year olds fracturing bones in a seventy year old’s face simply because the seventy year old was doing her job cannot be passed off or nullified no matter what racial colors were involved.
GUILTY!
The alleged assaulter was a alleged customer.
The assaulted was a Walmart employee.

Huh? The 70 yr old WAS the Walmart employee that was assaulted by the violent customer, not the other way around.
However, just imagine what would happen if the races were reversed and a white lady had assaulted a 70 yr old black employee? Just imagine how that would be portrayed in the media.
Too bad Jacquetta shouted about the elderly employee’s race after slugging her. She wound up for a knock out king punch. That is just so mean.
They have the punch on camera and they have witnesses on what Jacquetta said after the assault concerning her intentions. She threatened a witness, too.
She’s up the creek with no paddle.

Now who will mac daddy appoint asa new czar of public relations since his first choice is in trouble with the law, oh wait he has eric, my people, holder to use to defend her, the IRS to review the 70 year olds taxes, and he can alway say that it was the old mean who should be charged with a hate crime for even taking her to court.
