Christian Bale in the news lately, I read his father
David was married to Gloria (2,000 - 2,003). She was
his third wife, his second wife was Christian’s mother.

Don’t you think it was a suffering for Christian?

If memory serves...it doesn't always...in her mid-sixties she caused consternation in her circle when she married some soul-mate character who also liked to tell other people how to live. He may have had some terminal illness, but I don't think they knew it when they married.

Not long ago, I read about an incident in which Bale, his father, and Steinem were seated around the dinner table. Steinem was being her gasbag self, droning on and on about feminist crap, and Bale, who had reached his limit, yelled out, "For God's sake, woman, shut up! Just shut up!"
