Floyd Lee Corkins II, the suspect in Wednesday's shooting ‏at the Washington, D.C., headquarters of the Family Research Council, was carrying 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches in a bag when he opened fire, according to the criminal complaint filed by the Justice Department on Thursday.

Corkins, 28, of Herndon, Va., was charged with "interstate transportation of a firearm and ammunition"—a federal offense—along with the "intent to kill while armed." The offenses carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison for transportation of a weapon, and 30 years for intent to kill. Corkins is expected to make an initial court appearance later Thursday.

According to the FBI affidavit, Corkins' parents said their son "has strong opinions with respect to those he believes do not treat homosexuals in a fair manner." According to The Associated Press, Corkins "had been volunteering recently at a community center for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people."

I think he planned to murder 15 people, then stuff chik fil a’s in their mouths. Then he could’ve gotten off after filing a grant with the NEA for “Homicidal Art”.

LOL!!

Slightly off topic, but I don’t much care for either curly or waffle fries. Plain oldfashioned french fries (fried in lard), piping hot & well salted; how do you improve on that?

Fourteen rounds in the magazine, one in the chamber. He was going to leave a sandwich with each one of his victims.

Since ‘they’ had a version where he supposedly told the (Black) Security Guard “I don’t have any thing against you”

I think his plan was to offer a sandwich and those that came forward he would shoot?

"Corkins, 28, of Herndon, Va., was charged with "interstate transportation of a firearm and ammunition"—a federal offense—..."

That's a federal law?

Cordially,

The liberal probably thought he would look like he belonged if he was carrying a bag of Chick-fil-A. Superficial appearances are important to liberals - they tend toward 'shallow'.

Or maybe the sandwiches were poisoned - and he was going to hand them out. Creepy again...

Corkins is really screwed now. The DC district
attorney may overlook a petty crime such as murder of an employee of a conservative group, but carrying Chick-Fil-A sandwiches within city limits is a serious offense that will not go unpunished.

“The liberal probably thought he would look like he belonged if he was carrying a bag of Chick-fil-A.”

If that was his thinking, a bag with a single sandwich would have worked just as well, so he wouldn’t buy 15 of them.

“Or maybe the sandwiches were poisoned - and he was going to hand them out.”

Maybe, but we’d probably know by now if they had been poisoned (I assume the police would have tested them already).

I think the likeliest theory expounded on this thread so far has been the one about him planning to offer sandwiches to people, and then shooting the “homophobes” who accepted them.

I remember hearing that he was going to use the excuse of delivering food to get past the guard.

The guy was liberal brain-dead true believer. In the smallness of his mind - he would think everyone in the building was a 'homophobe'.

My guess is he wanted to kill as many people as he could and his way of getting 'in' was the "I'm one of you' bag of Chick-fil-A - as if conservatives walked around with Chicken sandwiches all day. Liberals gin up their base with so much hatred that it's a wonder they don't kill more of us. If the Southern Poverty Law Center had their way we'd all be arrested and put on trains for 're-education' camps.

Liberals ARE the haters.

And the liars...

And the criminals and cheaters....

What the he**?

What happened to the Firearm Owners' Protection Act?

If they have silently deep-sixed that Act, then anyone caught driving across a state line with a firearm can be put under the jail with a felony charge.

This must be stopped. REVOLUTION!
