Does this sound familiar given the recent charges against Romney?
http://www.usatoday.com/news/e98/e521.htm
"Republicans are howling over repeated accusations of racism against Ashcroft, which began after Ashcroft led the charge Oct. 5 against the nomination of Ronnie White, the first black Missouri Supreme Court judge, to the federal bench.
"Drive-by-shooting, political lynching and outright racism are among accusations hurled by black leaders furious over Ashcroft's role in the nomination's historic defeat.
"Carnahan himself has refused to level the charges at Ashcroft. But the Democratic governor told a Washington Post reporter for a story in Saturday editions: 'Yes, I think it had racial overtones. It certainly did.'"
Just some more links to coverage of Carnahan, still no mention of calls for Clinton or Gore or the DNC to repudiate him, have the DSCC cut off funding, etc.

Good.
We’re beginning to learn how to punch back twice as hard.
No matter how bad a repub can be, one knows that the dimbulbs are much, much, much worse.
After all, they’re democrats.
No more need be said.
