I see you transcribed the broadcast. You have a stronger stomach than I.

"But enough about Republican Todd Akin. Let's talk about Republican Todd Akin!"

Of course she does... if he drops out she goes back to being a hostess at the Olive Garden in Cape.

Our local news, too. Wall-to-wall, with the exception of weather and sports.

I thought he was a reasonable individual who made a very bad mistake.

So Ryan and the entire GOP wants him out, McCaskill wants him in ... and he goes along with what McCaskill wants!?!?

Now I am convinced: He’s a moron.

“Clearly he suffers from elephantitus of the ego.”
Apparently. what’s with these careerist pols that need to be taken out with a crowbar?!? Power must be intoxicating.

Akin: Drop out!

Akin is way down in the polls.
PPP salted their poll to give Akin false hope and help him stay in, which is what Democrats want.

http://minx.cc/?post=332101

“Since PPP decided it can’t help itself, I’ve done you all a service.
I went through their ridiculous R+9 sample and ONLY changed the D/R/I proportions to match previous elections, and an even turnout.
With R+9, PPP’s headline screams Akin up by 1. It is an obvious, sick ploy to get this delusional Bio101 flunkie to stay in and cost us a seat.

Here are the real numbers:
If turnout in November matches 2008 (it won’t):
McCaskill 49.25% Akin 39% (this is a D+6 turnout model)

If turnout in November is even, an incredible feat for the GOP considering heavy turnout in St Louis and Kansas City during an election year:
McCaskill 47% Akin 40%.

If turnout in November matches the best we have ever seen in the state (R+3 during 2010):
McCaskill 45% Akin 41%.

McCaskill is a dead duck if we dump Akin. The other candidates from the primary were crushing her up and down. To trail her by four in a best-case scenario is inexcusable at this point.”

It was a geared election...to help Akin make it up through the primary and be the final Republican choice. The fact that Akin hasn’t figured this out....makes him either a knowing part of the scheme, or fairly naive (my bet is on the naive). But here’s the bottom line. Even if Akin had not made the comment....the best results would have been McCaskill likely winning 51-49 percent (based on several different sources)....so Akin didn’t have a great chance of winning, and this merely puts it back into the safe 60-40 percent range for McCaskill.

exactly....but if his ego wasn’t so darned bug he would see the bigger picture and step aside, be content with his house seat and ride the gravy train a bit longer

Darned bugs!

Kidding aside, perhaps his belief in Life is blinding his objectivity.

I thought he was a reasonable individual who made a very bad mistake.

So did I - until I listened to his Hannity interview, when he exposed his bizarre mental processes to the entire country.

On the bright side, he has plenty of company. The majority of pols suffer from the same crazed ambition, and many of them are also idiots. They just hide it better.

Mccaskill, helped deliver the kenyan nightmare and his insane techniques used to bankrupt our kid’s futures. She is the enemy of every free human.

Akin, a native NYC fool, made the mistake of addressing a technical issue he knows very little about. Fact is, he was right but misstated the issue. Forcible rape, is so devastating to endocrine homeostasis involved in reproduction, that conceptions rates do fall dramatically. This principle applies across many species, not just humans.

McCaskill is having fun with this now. She knows there’s no chance of Akin winning. Like a cat playing with a mouse before devouring it, she’ll probably even throw his campaign a little $$$$ just to keep this macabre game going until she tires of it and delivers the kill shot.

It didn’t have to happen that way, but unfortunately Akin’s ego got the best of him.

You bet she does. She smells fear, and cowardice, and is predicting a full retreat from the “pro-lifers”.

I wish I could say she’s wrong.

No, McCaskill knows she can beat Akin because of this. Prior to the primary, Rasmussen was showing McCaskill losing to Akin by 3% and losing to both Steelman and Brunner by 6%. McCaskill wants Akin in because he is beatable. Replace Akin with someone like Steelman and McCaskill goes down.

Well of course. It's the voters who'll decide the outcome. She wouldn't stand a chance if not for the fear, the cowardice, and the full retreat of "pro-lifers".

This inevitable loss will fall not on Akin's head but on ours.
