Bush, Teddy Roosevelt, Zachary Taylor, Andrew Jackson, Rutherford B. Hayes, James Garfield... Only 12 presidents in our history never served in the military prior to entering politics. Interestingly, that number includes Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Clinton and Obama - 4 of the presidents that have moved us toward socialism the most during their presidencies...
