I hate paying public school taxes and private school tuition. Conversely, I’d be afraid to let vouchers with public money touch private schools because the strings attached could strangle the quality out of private schools.
Even a tax credit, or simply not charging you the portion of the tax they use for public schools, could have strings attached -
“you get this tax credit if your child goes to an APPROVED school”
