Hopefully no more “gotcha” interviews. Or at least this fellow knows how to answer them properly.

Another state moving in the right direction: WI, OH (tied), and until recently, MO.

Latest polls are really looking good. One poll has R&R up by 14 pts in FL. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the MO fiasco won’t have any significant effects on the nationwide election.

GOP also leads in NE and ND Senate races—both GOP gains. We’ll probably lose Maine so we need to hold MA.

Summers cut the lead in half in ME and apparently has a very good state-wide presence. There was a column yesterday in National Review saying Maine is not lost. But even if we get ME, MO, HI (!), CT we are still only at about 55-56. BUT . .. with Ryan in as tie-breaker, this would make it extremely difficult for any combo of Dems and “moderate” Republicans to stop any legislation.

I don’t trust that poll-—it’s like the Quinnipiac poll showing Zero up nationally by 10-—but it reinforces the recent Rasmussen smaller Romney leads in FL.

MA looks likely to be a hold. FLA looks promising as a pick up. Problem is there is whole lot of campaigning left to do but over all the polling is looking from bad to worse for the Dems

My son goes to school at U of Mt in Missoula and says that the students are not interested in the election this year. It was crazy Obama at the campus last time and my son says no way this time!

Never underestimate the ability of Denny to mess up a lead with yet another stupid stunt, like filing lawsuits against firefighters, or crashing a boat drunk at night with no running lights, or falling off his horse drunk in Kazahkstan!

I predict we will see a “firefighters getting sued” commercial from Tester yet this smoke filled summer.

Denny Rehberg - Montana’s answer to Borat!

So you think Montana prefers pro-Obamacare, pro-Obama’s failed policies Tester?

No. Obamacare is an anchor around Tester’s neck this election, but Tester did get a leg up on Denny on the Wolf issue, and that’s a huge issue here. Tester did vote against TARP.

Denny’s problem is that he’s been prone to embarrassing mistakes, and he’s not been a very effective legislator to date.

Still, the election is Denny’s to lose.

I’ve been traveling all over Montana the past 2 weeks and have seen dozens of Rehberg signs and only 1 tester sign. But there is a tester ad on the radio every 10 minutes and i’ve yet to hear a Rehberg ad. Tester must be getting desperate.
