Could someone set me straight on this? Are the networks giving equal time to both conventions or not? The Dem's convention is 3 days, how long is the GOP's convention?
Does anyone have direct line phone numbers to the major media outlets to voice complaints? If so, please post them here! I WANT TO SEE ANN'S SPEECH. She is a classy woman, unlike the America-hating Wookiee currently occupying our White House. The media DOES NOT WANT AMERICA TO SEE A 'CLASS ACT' WOULD-BE FIRST LADY and WE MUST NOT ALLOW THE MEDIA TO AMBUSH THE REPUBLICANS IN THEIR COORDINATED EFFORT TO SHAPE THE OUTCOME OF THIS ELECTION.. NOT THIS TIME, HELL NO!

In spite of these large illegal ‘contributions in kind’ by the ‘major’ news networks, it’s the Republicans election to lose.
This won’t change anything, except maybe make the Republicans more attractive.

The Left is the champion of blacks and women unless, of course, the black is for liberty (not a "liberal") and the woman is actually feminine (not a "feminist").

NBC, ABC and CBS are not airing the opening night of the convention?
Isn’t that when the critical “Key Note” address is given?
That’s not newsworthy?

I'm thinking we need to call and chastise the news media, NOT the politicians. If someone has REAL media phone numbers to call, that would be great. CBS, NBC and ABC mainly.
We know the debate moderators will go full-on AMBUSH, especially on Ryan since he is universally liked and attractive to 'on the fence' liberals including females, youth and he's even polling strong with seniors. We KNOW this is coming and THEY must know we know it's coming. We KNOW Akin's name will be surface many times, targeted at Ryan.. He must be prepared and I pray his debate rehearsal team foresees this. MODERATORS WILL ATTACK RYAN. EVERY QUESTION WILL BE A SET-UP AND HE WILL BE TREATED IN A DESPICABLE FASHION. NETWORK BASTARDS!

I think both of their listeners would not care anyway

P.S. 90% of the moderator’s questions to Ryan will be on obscure foreign policy matters even Biden couldn’t answer. Mark my words.

I do realize that the convention is not the ‘debates’ but this article underscores media efforts to control and limit the GOP’s momentum by attempting to ignore the GOP convention.

Ann Romney has been scheduled to deliver the keynote address.
Somebody better tell Chris Christie.
Whoever draws the short straw will tell him. Chest, neck an face protection is available.

Whoever draws the short straw will tell him. I nominate Dylan Byers (The idiot who wrote this piece).
If Dylan is not available, I nominate his editor. (The lazy SOB who let this one slip by.)
And I would pay to see the interaction between Christie and either one of those two "journalists" on that occasion.

I have a feeling most conservatives will be watching Fox News anyway.

CSPAN has covered conventions in the past, haven’t they?

Yes; CSPAN has covered the conventions in the past, from start to finish. That’s where I tune if I want to see/hear everything. On FNC, one-third of the screen is stacked with banners, crawls, alerts, etc., and pundits are muttering in the background. CSPAN does a good job — “just the facts” and no annoying BS.
