RICHMOND, Va. --

Police are searching today for a group of about 15 young men believed to have punched one passerby and robbed and beaten another in rapid succession on Virginia Commonwealth University's main downtown Richmond campus.

Neither victim was seriously injured in the two attacks, which happened along Shafer Street on the Monroe Park campus about 2:55 a.m.

VCU and Richmond police described the assailants as a group of 15 black males between the ages of 17 and 22.

“Last night there was a tremendous amount of activity... between the hours of 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.,”....

The first victim, who is not a VCU student, reported being punched without provocation .....

Moments later, the group encountered the second victim, a VCU student, ....comment about his boots before he was punched in the back of the head and knocked to the ground.

Once on the ground, .... , "Give me everything you've got." The student was punched again, this time in the neck, and a pack of cigarettes was stolen .....

The assailants were last seen.....

The attacks came just days after students had returned to campus....

“This is not the start of the semester that we were looking for,” .....

I was reading about the Megan Boken murder yesterday. In reading some of the comments on one comments page, one of the posters got indignant because Megan’s best friend had the audacity to assert that she knew for a fact that Megan didn’t know her attacker, and that they didn’t hang around with people like that-meaning, black criminal thugs. She was mad because “that be rayciss!” Apparently, she’s not aware that many people don’t number black criminal thugs amongst their friends.

What’s sickening is that there’s one less achiever like Megan in this world, someone who would have been a person to be proud of, someone who would have added to the good in this world, but a useless murdering waste of breath thug is still running around. I hope the reward works.

A former Marine is detained based on what he “might” do, but the Black Panthers run around making explicit threats on camera towards whites, with impunity. This cannot continue, and I am ready for the beginning of the end of it.

They were making some kind of a statement, for sure. They were marching right through the heart of the campus, and were "last seen" heading straight for the center point, where it is marked :

People are afraid to attribute any sort of racial animosity on the part of blacks towards whites. H*ll, they hate whites or at best resent us. As an aside, whites no longer seem able to effectively handle blacks-at least those blacks that scowl.
