WTF does THAT mean?
Who, pray tell, is “The US Government”?
Is it Obama? The Executive Branch? Does it include the SEAL who wrote the book? Does it include We The People?
Who, exactly, speaks for “The US government”? Carney? Justice Roberts? Harry Reid?

Yeah, I smell a rat too and think this is nothing but a ploy by the Obama administration to glorify Obama’s role in the mission to take down Bin Laden. I don’t think they were surprised at all, and if they really don’t won’t the book to be published, it won’t be. I think they are pushing it and have planned this all along, just another spike of the ball. Well I throw the damn penalty flag on this.
I don’t see why the author needs to write under a “pseudonym”. Barry the Kenyan Guy invited Hollywood in to make a movie about his killing of Osama bin Laden. Hollyweird’s Obambo - Terrorist Hunter movie should be coming out in time for the election. I haven’t heard any whining about that.
Not even close to being one of the most important missions. Can think of dozens right off hand that were far more important.

Sounds to me like an “I’m a hero” book because who will dispute it since the Seals can’t speak up about it? People tend to believe HEROES, so if the book says this guy was an eyewitness who saw bin laden d e d, maybe even shot him himself, people will believe...and we STILL have no more proof than we did before.
