Thank you. Those Elkhorn mountains west of North Powder (8,500’) can have snow anytime as well as the Wallowa, of course.

Thankfully No! My wife is from this area and has seen that sort of cold... Coldest I’ve seen since moving out here from the coast is 43 below. It doesn’t seem to make much difference when it gets colder than that!
