Frankly, I find it rather disgusting to equate a politician with a warrior. When pols start giving their lives for their country I might change my mind. Until then, find a new metaphor. Like, it’s wrong to leave a high class whore without achieving orgasm.

Where is the honor of standing by someone whose views are not only small minded and ignorant, but also abhorrent to 90% of the country. Were the pubbies wrong to disavow David Dukes?

If there is wholesale vilification, it is because the man’s thinking is vile.

Naturally! It's just scandalous how the GOP deserted the wounded warrior David Dukes on the field to face the Goliath Dems all alone. Can you say Circular Firing Squad?

And it's horrific how Wounded Warrior Larry Craig was left to rot by the GOP, twisting hoisted in the wind on his petard in an airport toilet stall. Just one teensy weensy little itty bitty insignificant mistake shouldn't end an entire political career, should it? He had a stellar voting record on social issues -- one of the few Senators to support the Federal Marriage Amendment, so his political execution (EVEN AFTER HE PROFUSELY APOLOGIZED! NO I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP!) obviously had virtually nothing to do with his own actions, and everything to do with Establishment GOP Conspirators. (Look out! Circular Firing Squads incoming at 6 o'clock!)

And don't forget Wounded Warrior Mark Foley, just, er, um, exercising his free speech rights via text messages. Oh no! Yet another circular firing squad! I see them EVERYwhere, I tell you! We're surrounded by them! ACKK!
