MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Two New York women and a Vermont country inn have settled a lawsuit that accused the business of refusing to host the couple's wedding reception...

Kate and Ming Linsley contacted the ACLU after Ming's mother was told last year by the Wildflower Inn's events manager that the inn didn't host "gay receptions" due to the innkeepers' "personal feelings."

The women say they will use the money for legal costs and donate the rest to charity.

As part of the settlement, the Wildflower Inn agreed to no longer host wedding receptions.

but the only reason they are different to normal coples is that they have very sick sex and then they think they should get these special laws, special rights and be accepted on top of that.

I’m moving to friggin Russia or we send them over to Siberia.
speaking of which, they knoew damn well what they’re doing. They move to other areas of the country, they move into here the south and then ook to play victim.

Time people with a public voice stood up and mention this issue, HEY HANNITY YOU READING THIS?

I agree - there has to be some major push-back on a national level, as with Chick-Fil-A. Every month you read about some cake shop or bed and breakfast running into this kind of crap from the Rainbow Agenda crowd.

Good luck - sounds fun, and if you run into trouble from the Rainbow crowd, FReeprs will have your back...

Either people have stoped thinking and just go with the flow or they have some serious demented minds

It's propaganda from all the socialist/communists leaders of the past. No one was "allowed" to speak out against Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, ....without being punished for their crime.

It's not that normal people support the flaming homos - it's just that they've been threatened with "hate speech" laws if they dare object. They've been literally frightened into compliance.

This is not the way a free people are suppose to live. All this is nothing but totalitarian thought control. What about the victims, like these people, of the homo agenda? Where are THEIR rights to be free?

In our country, it's suppose to be "out of the many - one." The liberals have turned it around. They find a handful of freaks, and demand the entire country change for them. "Out of the one - many."

Even worse are the homosexual loving judges who are siding with them.

good points and I agree.

I will never shut up about them and yes if I ever see them acting out then they will hear from me.

It’s time for people to stand up now, staying silent has only helped them and like another poster said.

They are going after churches and will sue if they do not get married, sorry if they get refused to their sham marriage.

I’m B/S about all of this crap, it;s frigging sick.
If they want sham marriages then move to MA but we all know it;s more than just a sham marriage.

Funny how quick they got onto a cure for HIV or AIDS but cancer is still killing millions around the world

Patricia is marrying Sam. Patricia can come by the inn to make sure everything is just right for the wedding, but Sam is too busy working in the city to drop by.

Only on the wedding day does the Innkeeper find out that Sam is actually Samantha.

On the one hand, this is a very good idea. But on the other hand, some of these gays I believe are deliberately seeking out Christian businesses, targeting them to make an example of them. So in the case of your plan, what’s to stop a gay couple from saying, “We’re in the planning stages so anything between April and July would be good.” Then if told it is all booked, they’ll get suspicious and run to the ACLU. And wouldn’t it be best if religious or other conservative business owners could OPENLY say, “Sorry, due to my beliefs you will have to be accommodated elsewhere.” And the gays would have to accept this, just as I accept it when certain hotels say they don’t allow dogs. I don’t run to the ACLU, i just look for pet friendly accomodations.

So make it company policy that both people sign the rental/usage contract in office.

As I said, there are ways. People just need to network, put some effort into preemptive planning and do it. Foolproof? No. But it will greatly inconvinence these idiots and keep most of them at bay.

HIV isn't done yet. It's going to get worse - much worse. You can't war with nature and expect to win.

That’s exactly right. Far from looking for another business which condones their perversion, they are deliberately targeting businesses in order to instigate lawsuits. Like the photography business in New Mexico, The cupcake place, etc.

They probably are already prepared for that and come in singly talking about their “wedding” without mentioning that it will be a queer wedding. The the owner is stuck unless he’s willing to lie amd say he just remembered a previous family commitment or something. If it were me I’d want to tell them a lie that they know is a lie, but can’t dispute because I could easily do something with family on the spur of the moment or make a personal plan. Even if they knew I was lying they could hardly dictate my private life and schedule. If I found out after the fact that it’s a queer wedding, I’d just say oops, I forgot, that’s the weekend I have to dig holes in my yard and refill them.

The unfortunate reality is that they will sue no matter what, short of full capitulation. So take a page from their tactics. And shove your beliefs in their faces. Put up ‘Jesus loves you’ signs on the front door, driveway ect. Wear the Tshirt. play gospel music on the radio. Have literature on traditional marriage in the racks. If they force your biz into serving them, make their experience as upsetting to them as you legally can.

Because you WILL get sues unless you totally kiss their butt. Fighting back in ways big and small is all people can do. Unless they just submit. Don’t wait until it comes to your door. Make a plan.

how about a normal couple going on their cruises, vacation places or their bars and start kissing your spouse in front of them and lets see if they refuse the normal couple and then sue them if they do.

This is why same-sex marriage is not just a question of religious values or morality. Once that is put into law, it will have sweeping effects across the whole legal system and social order until homosexuality is every bit as public, prominent and institutionalized across the country as heterosexuality is. The whole point is to make sure children are raised being open to that lifestyle. And when they see it everywhere they look, at every business they visit, and taught to them at every school function and social gathering, far more people will grow up participating in that lifestyle.

Buy an aroma system. Get unpleasant scents. Activate the system when homos come to your business.

MILLIONS OF THINGS to do. People just have to get over their natural reluctance to fight back and ‘offend’ someone. Even if that someone is the antithesis of everything they believe in.
