MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Two New York women and a Vermont country inn have settled a lawsuit that accused the business of refusing to host the couple's wedding reception...
Kate and Ming Linsley contacted the ACLU after Ming's mother was told last year by the Wildflower Inn's events manager that the inn didn't host "gay receptions" due to the innkeepers' "personal feelings."
The women say they will use the money for legal costs and donate the rest to charity.
As part of the settlement, the Wildflower Inn agreed to no longer host wedding receptions.

Vermont Human Rights Commission - seems when you own something you forfeit your ‘human rights’. You are then a slave to those who want to control your business.
This crap makes me madder than Hell. They are dictating to these independent business owners how to run their business.
It seems grossly unfair. I’ll bet wedding receptions were a large part of the Inn’s revenues, and it seems the lesbian couple could have looked elsewhere for a place to hold their reception.
It appears the hateful, bitter, intolerant lesbians believed these people should be destroyed because of their heterosexual values.
This Inn could start a private "wedding club." That way, they don't have to allow homosexuals in. The club members would let people in by vote.

Even worse, they likely targeted this Inn because they knew a Christian or someone opposed to gay marriage was running it: To make an example of them. Destroyed their wedding reception business and probably their lives. Fascist and evil.
If a place does not have what you want, you go to another. What will be next? (i.e. If a Chinese restaurant doesn’t serve Hungarian Goulash, you can always sue them? If they don’t put Goulash on the menu, they won’t be allowed to serve anything else? Its not the same but it seems like it.)

Can you imagine what this will do to their livelihood? And I am sure the lesbians targeted this place, to make an example of them. I’ve heard that’s a big strategy with the gays. Sickening.

That’s what I don’t get, seriously has people stopped thinking, we are on about two women who have sex with each other and have to wear strap ons etc.
The only dfference between us and them is how they have teir sex and because of how they have their sex they think they should have special rights and be accepted.

All these businesses should make a set of scheduling books...personal scheduling. In them, show your business will be closed that weekend/week for maintainance/vacations etc.
When the homo couple comes in to schedule a date with you (likely they already picked the date) simply inform them you are closed that week and show them the schedule. Be prepared with docs to ‘prove’ it when the court case comes up.
There are many ways around this insanity. People in business opposed to this crap need to put some thought ito avoiding business ‘legally’ with the homo ‘community’. And understand they can either do that and win the court case that will happen one way or the other or accept that they will lose their business as more homos keep at it.
This is a gross injustice!
It would be nice if this news went viral. They could have a nation wide type of Chic Fil A day. More businesses would start to deny homosexuals just to get all the business attention!
Maybe there could be a donation site set up for them like that schhol bus monitor. That would be a very nice thing to do. What those homosexuals did to these fine people is simply wrong, wrong, wrong.
