A disgruntled worker stalked a colleague down a Midtown street, shot him dead and then turned his weapon on random pedestrians outside the Empire State Building — killing at least one innocent bystander and shooting up to seven others before he was cut down by a cop on foot patrol, sources told The Post.
-snip-
The gunman followed his victim down 33rd Street before opening fire outside Legend’s Bar. the sources said.
With his target dead, he then headed over to the Empire State Building and did the unthinkable — unleashing a fusillade of shots in the heart of the morning rush on a street loaded with pedestrrans.

Now the most dangerous place for the public is being between Chuck Schumer and a TV camera.
So this demonstrates perfectly what the gun-control moonbats don’t want to hear.
A psycho got hold of a gun in a city that has outlawed them. He walks down the street, shoots someone at point-blank range, then, with no resistance walks away, before randomly opening fire on innocent people, hitting 8-10 of them before the police can take him down.
One armed citizen would had him down after the first shot.
Mayor Bloomberg: Cops may have shot innocent bystanders in an attempt to kill the shooter...
Watching streaming video of Bloomberg press conf, he says the gun was a .45, the perp’s name is (?)Jeffery Johnson, who worked at Hazan Imports. He ends with “There’s an awful lot of guns out there”.
Some pics at http://copycateffect.blogspot.com/
Per the new conf, he shot his manager at Hazan Imports (a small wholesale handbag company), and the rest of the shooting was when he got into a gun battle with police trying to arrest him as he tried to get away.
“cut down by a cop on foot patrol” (with a GUN!)
Proving once again....”When guns are outlawed, only criminals will have guns”.
In the Great Depression these guys who flet like they lost everything used to jump off buildings
In Bernanke’s Greater Depression more and more depresed nuts are committing suicide-by-cop via mass murder..more copy cats ahead?
This story is obviously an urban legend. The wonderful gun laws of the great city of New York prevent such an occurence. Law breakers know that can't have a gun without breaking the law - and they wouldn't want to do that...

Let’s wait ‘til we get clear information on how the bystanders got hit.
In the meantime: handbag designer... shooting... more than enough evidence for ABC to schedule a three part series on gay violence. Oh.. wait.. it’s only possible conservatives they jump to conclusions about.
Now Gloomberg will make it illegal to wear grey suits in the city!
Well that answers the question. A cop on every corner 24/7 will solve the problems. /s
Eerily, just minutes before the mayhem, Mayor Bloomberg was warning about the dangers of “too many guns on the streets” on his weekly radio show.
“The argument guns don’t kill people, people kill people is one of the most disingenuous things you can say,” he said shortly before 9 a.m. while discussing tougher guns laws being proposed in Albany.
“It does take a person to pull the trigger, but if they didn’t have the gun... We are the only developed country in the world with this problem.”
Of course, Bloomberg and pals will milk this tragic incident for all it's worth in his attempts to see his "guns for government only" vision to reality. It's part and parcel of the nanny state paradigm.
I'm not exactly sure what he means by "we are the only country in the developed world with this problem" but I do know that Israel and Switzerland are two examples of "developed" countries in which firearm ownership is very widespread among the civilian population.
Interesting. The name Isaac keeps popping up.
The shooter was, “a designer of women’s accessories until being laid off last year”. Hmmm... Watch the Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms go into full PC mode. This story will disappear faster than a typical Friday night shooting spree in Chicago.
