Issa says ATF’s McMahon ‘will probably be referred for criminal prosecution’(gunwalker)
Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 23 August, 2012 | David Codrea

Posted on 08/24/2012 9:13:28 AM PDT by marktwain

In a startling assertion almost buried in last night’s “On the Record” interview with Greta Van Susteren on Fox News, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa indicated he has criminal charges in store for an ATF official implicated in the Fast and Furious “gunwalking” operation. Referring to “double-dipping” by former Assistant Director William Hoover [CORRECTION: should be "McMahon"--transcription error on my part--DC], hired by the J.P. Morgan financial services conglomerate while he’s on leave from ATF and awaiting retirement, Issa let slip with what should be considered a bombshell announcement, and a precursor for things to come.

“This is somebody who our reports said perjured himself before the Congress,” Issa charged. “We don’t understand why J.P. Morgan would hire somebody who’s lied to Congress, that will probably be referred for criminal prosecution.”

What about charges against Holder? How about against Obama - this more than qualifies as “high crimes”!!!

McMahon has been moved out of reach to the Philippines .... O’Reilly is out of reach in Iraq. Just more incriminating cover-up behavior that says what Holder/Obama are hiding has got to be a politically fatal blow to Obama & his thugs if it ever sees the light of day.

Maybe just applying pressure to get the guy to flip, and blow the whistle?

Cinching up the noose just a little bit tighter. If anyone wants to cut a deal they better come forward pretty soon. It’s a limited time offer I’m sure.

Sweating is going on by some folks right now.
How much can they trust Obama with a "Don't worry, I got your back?".

Not much, and everyone knows it. "Trustworthy" has *never* been one of Obama's characteristics.

It can work when everyone is willing to take it on the chin for the cause. There were people in the gulag that Solzhenitsyn writes about that *knew* they were innocent, but still accepted their fate, because it had to be for the greater good of communism. The "leader" was doing it for the "right reason" even if they could not see it.

I do not see that level of dedication in these bureaucrats.

He won’t back anyone up between now and Nov. He can’t back anyone up if he loses and, in the unlikely event that he’s re-elected, Issa will just keep advancing like a slow tide coming up the beach. Everyone who wants to go to prison for a failed one-term narcissist just stand firm.
