The name “SEAL Team 6” has never been a secret because there is no unit with that name, it is a fiction made up by the media.
There has never been an outing of the members of the real group tagged as “SEAL Team 6” until now and only one name was outed.
How would the “outers” get outed? Clearly Fox didn’t name their humint sources.
That youtube has been widely discussed by me and others on FR. All these “insiders” cashing in with 9/11 anniversary books. Wait until Miniter’s book comes out, really full of BS.

I get tired of this Carter/Clinton/Obama view that Americans should cower in fear and hide from who they are. If you don’t like Americans for who they are and think being in the military would therefore be a detriment, then don’t sign up.
I would imagine it’s easy enough to find out his name. It would take one phone call from Jarrett.

And what about our brave men and women who are serving over there. Especially when their hands are tied as far as ROE. Did he stop to think about what this book would do? In my opinion, he was not thinking of anyone but himself. His actions were selfish. I dont feel angry that his name was leaked. But I am curious who leaked it.

They’re about as riled up as they can get. I think our being there is about it. They are already shooting us in the back of our heads after posing as friends. You don’t suppress the enemy by trying to be his friend. If he won’t respect you, make him fear you.

I dont know how writing a book will make them fear you. I wish we could bomb the hell out of them. But the pretender in chief wont let that happen.

At no point did I say we should be anyone’s friend. I dont understand how writing a book will make them respect or fear you. He sold out the rest of his team. What is right about that. This book was wrong. Publishing pictures of Abu Grab was wrong. If it was up to me I would let the men and women of the Military handle the enemy any way they see fit. But the pretender in chief and his ROE wont let that happen. So why put them in more danger than they are already in?

The evidence is compelling that it was the Commander-in-Chief and his administration that first confirmed SEAL Team SIX conducted the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden and then provided unprecedented access to classified CIA documents that detailed collection methods and operations. There can be no doubt that being the source of the leaks demonstrates a disregard for National Security and puts our troops at greater risk while jeopardizing our ability to conduct future operations. This week a former member of SEAL Team SIX who participated on the raid itself releases a book about his experience. Clearly, disclosing sensitive information to our enemies for political or monetary gain is worthy of prosecution. The problem the President faces is how can you hold a hero who was on the mission accountable for writing a book and not apply the same standard to himself as Commander-in-Chief for making a movie about the same event?

Good point, the producers of movie coming out this fall had unprecedented access to White House intel on the raid.
I object to Obama’s pals cashing in on classified operations also, along with the operators.
At least Miniter is cashing in on intel he got second hand, no matter that much is simply nonsense and made up by others. Although the Paki Colonel’s involvement that Miniter discussed has some basis.
