She talks about where she'll be next week, Mitt Romney vs Barack Obama, and the possibility of a third party.

TOPICS: Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: palin; romney; thirdparty
Here's a direct link to the answer to the third party question.

"I wouldn't be surprised if history, at some point, would repeat itself."

I'm sick of the GOP-E. Bring on the third party.

Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin

I believe that would be a second party. Right now we have two manifestations of the Democrat party. Pre-1968 and post-1968.

I certainly hope there WILL NOT be a third party...It will do nothing except re elect Hussein Obama for four more years...

and Sarah Palin will go down in flames, she will never recover to run for a political office again...if she becomes involved with this...

She isn’t referring to THIS election cycle.

She’s talking about what might happen if the Republican establishment ignores its party platform and evolves into a lite version of the Democrats.

No, she’s quite clear in this interview, asking everyone—including those disinclined to vote—to vote for Romney.

She was also clear that as to third party that would be a possibility down the line if the GOP doesn’t get back to small government, tea party principles.

If there is a split it will the the Republican party thereby making the Democratic Party stronger. Think. Cleaning out the Republican party would be a better idea.

That’s what Gov. Palin has been doing pretty much her entire adult life—cleaning out the GOP.

And she’s still at it.

But she’s right that if at some time it becomes clear that those efforts are futile, a new party may be the only solution.

Do yourself a favor and watch the video first before you make stupid comments. If you did watch it, watch it again. You’re apparently too dense to grasp what she said the first time.

I'm sick of the GOP-E. Bring on the third party.

I had thoughts like that twenty years ago but I learned from the Perot experience. There are many to pick from; good luck getting them elected.

There may be times where an insurgent candidacy is needed, like the Todd Akin fiasco as Palin has suggested.

guess my comment touched his nerve..

I didn't read the comments as Palin has lost her favor with this voter...

so maybe I'm stupid, dumb, jerk, ignorant, mean, hateful...what ever they want to call me is OK...

but lately there are some really nasty posters here...

You tell them Sarah!

Remember all you 3rd Party nay sayers.

The GOP has it's roots as THE third party.

So if they are too stupid and condemned to repeat the Whigs History

I say let them

I guess I have two general remarks to make about this.

1. There’s no point in having a third party candidate unless that candidate is really a solid, stellar leader. The only person I’ve seen on the political stage in recent years who might meet that description is Sarah Palin herself, but she took herself out of the running.

2. I had been hoping that after Sarah dropped out, she might find some way to orchestrate a solution to this mess from the sidelines. But that is looking less and less likely.

I really don’t know what the answer is, apart from prayer that the picture may somehow change between now and November. But that is looking less and less likely, too.

All very well to say, wait till 2016. But I think that may be too late to save the country if either Obama OR Romney wins the coming election.

Maybe God intends to punish our country for its sins. I certainly hope not. I don’t want to see my fellow Americans—and especially my children and grandchildren—go through anything like that. I pray that there may still be some way out of this growing disaster of greed, corruption, and evil that continues to overwhelm the seats of power.

Yes, clean out the Republicrats. Where do you think the RINOs will wind up if there is a split in the GOP? Face it, the RINOs want the Conservative vote, but are willing to do nothing to get it.
