I turned my TV on this morning (8am) thinking Armstrong's death would be at least the #2 news story, if not #1.
I flipped between CNN, FOX, HLN, ABC etc., and much to my anger and surprise, not a one carried the story before they went to the first commercial break eight or nine minutes later.
My local Gannett rag even had the story buried on page 10.
I guarantee if Armstrong had been a member of any poooor minority group, his death would have been the lead story.

The news media has paid less attention to his passing than to Trayvon Martin’s death. The news channels today are a joke.
