LAS VEGAS (AP) — Sen. Harry Reid has joined those in favor of changing the name of the Las Vegas airport.

Las Vegas has a wonderful community, outside of the tourist area

Las Vegas has some great eateries outside the tourist area such as Cugino's delicatessen on Maryland Parkway, owned by an Italian family--not by Middle Easterners, as are many "Italian" eateries in Southern California. Teriyaki Time, which is nearby, has good Japanese-Korean food. And at lunch time, Rincon Criollo on Las Vegas Blvd. is filled with Cubans who know where to find good Cuban cuisine.
