Yep, I know. The local constable wears them too. I have talked with him about that. It is stupid.

Khaki uniforms-— 35 years ago NYCPD changed to “baby blue” shirts and cars for the same reason. Crime went up. Under Giuliani and Bratton they changed to “dark” blue. Crime went down

I’m with you on this one. To get a full-blown Occupy-type movement at the convention you’d need to have liberal news outlets and websites encouraging it, along with a few supportive comments from the administration. Occupy has already demonstrated to the news outlets what a steaming pile of crap they are, and if there was concentrated chatter on the left-wing (not anarchist, but left-wing, where the useful idiots gather) websites, we’d be reading excerpts of their comments here. And I seriously doubt that Obama’s campaign team wants him to associate with anything labeled “Occupy” right now.

So far, not a peep out of the websites or the administration, although there’ve been a couple of scattered incidents reported of people or stashes being picked up. So I think you’ll be shown to be correct.

I’ll bet the FBI is having a field day rounding up data from the anarchist websites though...data that could prove very useful when it comes to providing protective services for the Romney/Ryan team the next 4 to 8 years.
