Of these 535, a total of 288 are Republicans — 241 and 47 in the lower and upper chambers, respectively. I noted Rubio because the GOP convention is in Tamps...the PhonyCons are going to pump him up...and I know all about his liberal background (Open Borders/Amnesty...support for liberal man-made Global Warming issues...many votes with Democrats)

McCarthy is excellent, but to say he is “the pre-eminent analyst of Islam jihad” might unfairly slight others, who are just as good, if not better in some respects, than McCarthy, to include: Robert Spencer (see jihadwatch.org), David Horowitz and his crew at frontpage.com, pamela geller at atlasshrugs.com, debbie schlussel at debbieschlussel.com, Daniel Pipes at danielpipes.org, the Web site barenakedislam.com, Daniel Greenberg at sultanknish.blogspot.com, caroline glick at carolineglick.com, themuslimissue.wordpress.com, creepingsharia.wordpress.com, and others. (Not all of these sources is equally scholarly, obviously, but I believe all are informative and useful.) Thank God, their numbers are increasing, as people begin to wake up to the realization that the vast majority of Muslims are not coming to America to assimilate, but to infiltrate, agitate, subvert, and conquer. Don’t go for that one percent of Muslims believes in jihad. All devout Muslims believe in jihad. Some jihad is violent. MOST domestic jihad is subtle, quiet, and easy to miss. Fools like GWBush and John McCain are unwitting enablers of Jihad. Evil characters like Eric Holder are in the know and consciously advancing the jihad.

Actually, we need to encourage all of these folks — including McCarthy — to continue doing what they are doing.

Where McCarthy seems to be distinguishing himself in a very valuable way, particularly, is in the way he is calling out Congress on this issue, and he is right on. We need to confront our candidates and elected reps on this issue without fail. Force them to face the issues and take a stand (which many hate to do), and then defeat/remove those who take stand on the wrong side of the issues. Where do you stand on the issue of domestic jihad and creeping sharia? Let’s not play dumb: Either take a stand or get out of the way.

And the rest of us need to wake up and speak up.
