What would you call, “Journey to the Center of the Mind”?
That song is best described as late 60’s psychedelia - “glam” and “metal” weren’t in the music vernacular at the time of that song.
He sure is and he is a gentleman.
I was around when Ted Nugent was dodging the draft. Ted Nugent is a cowardly draft dodger. How any Conservative can quote him on ANYTHING is utterly beyond me.
My 70yo mom went to see him because she and a friend had free tickets at the Hardrock Biloxi the other day. She sat front and center, held her ears, and unfortunately because of narcolepsy she fell asleep a few times. She said he used much profanity and doesn’t like obama.
Agreed.
But methinks that reporter has a future at the NY TimesSlymes..
He even said it twice for emphasis!
That was the Amboy Dukes (featuring Ted), and they sure as hell weren't glam! :) They tended a bit to the psychedelic side....but look at the era (late '60's). No, Ted has never, ever been identified in any way with glam rock, including his stint with Damn Yankees (despite what a poster above says). The members of that band all had and have impeccable rock credentials (Ted, of course...and members of Night Ranger, Styx).
