There are literally thousands of married couples in the United States who would adopt a baby who was conceived by in an assault situation, My husband and I knew a grad student at Vanderbilt who was pregnant from rape who had muliple offers for adoption. (Add yes, she had the baby. She and a strong sense of justice and did not believe in victimizing her own innocen child.)
Then why are there any orphans now?
