Many people in Florida are armed and there is still a “Stand Your Ground” policy here. Common sense dictates that threatening an armed populace is probably not the most intelligent thing to do.
People have to get to and from work. (unlike the protesters). Disrupting medical care is putting many innocents in grave danger. Lots of folks use public transportation and slicing tires on buses puts them out of transportation and possibly out of work.

If they do that, they'd better hope that no one in Tampa, outside the Republican Convention has a medical emergency and dies because of their stunt. Couldn't they be charged with a felony, at least manslaughter, if their actions caused a delay in getting medical help to someone?

If the left is willing to shut down EMS services based solely on political party, then what makes anyone think they won’t hold medical care hostage to individuals based on political registration data?
