The Sheriff has the right - per the SCOTUS decision - to tell the feds to take a hike.

The Sheriff is the supreme law of the land - and they’re messing with Joe, to boot.

Give ‘em the boot, Joe. hopefully a good ole Texas pointy toe cowboy boot.

you ask: “Don’t Federal agents need permission from the Sherrif to operate in the county?”

the Sheriff is the ultimate law in his county -

EXACTLY - the Sheriff can arrest feds in their territory

Sheriff Mack, when ordered by Clinton to enforce the Brady Law - said, hell no, and took it all the way to the SCOTUS - and WON! The court confirmed that the SHERIFF is the TOP law in our counties...

Get in conservative, oath keeper sheriffs in - and we can take back our country. It starts in our back yards!

Shouldn’t these Justice Department bums and minions be in Chicago, Philly, Miami and so forth watching the elections? Everyone knows that it is those type of places seeping with putrid criminal voting behavior...not Maricopa county. Jack-booted fools.

So the first Attorney General in American history to be voted in Contempt of Congress is going to use his department to wage political war against Joe Arpaiao and Jan Brewer?

Get a clue, RINOs: these guys play for keeps, you guys worry about whether you're being impolite.

On another site a person is slamming Arpaio about the child molestation cases that he supposedly didn’t follow up on and claiming he is a “thug” etc. The links provided to support this are not worth reading. If anyone has valid info to support Arpaio and show the truth of these allegations I’d appreciate it. I don’t want to let these accusations stand without countering them.

Well, technically, southern AZ and NM was declared a Confederate Territory.

“On August 1, 1861, Lieutenant Colonel John R. Baylor, commanding the victorious Confederate troops at Mesilla, issued a proclamation declaring the creation of a provisional Confederate Territory of Arizona, to include all of the former United States Territory of New Mexico south of the 34th parallel north. He named himself as governor, and set up a functioning territorial government which would continue in operation until the Confederates were forced out of New Mexico in July 1862.

“This Territory of Arizona was officially declared by Confederate President Jefferson Davis on February 14, 1862.”

How many counties are there in Arizona?

Only Maricopa County is getting attention?

Sure seems like Holder just cannot stand that Arpaio gets elected over & over again with over 80% of the votes!!!

I would call this discrimination against Arpaio & Arizona!!

Actually their presense could be construed at an attempt to intimidate voters and Arpaio should arrest them.

Feds. strip searched, photoed and fingerprinted, all dressed in pink, lost in the system spending a couple of weeks in a tent. Priceless...

yep - you are right/ But we all know why, out of the hundreds of counties in the country - they are going to Maricopa County.

Intimidation. To let anyone that thinks of bucking them that they will come after them. Hope enough sheriff's have got the message - THEY can tell the federalis to get the H out their county.

I hope Sheriff Joe has warrants in hand for any that disobey his orders to leave.

If Romney loses this election, the GOP will split. The whole country may split into 2 or 3 pieces. It will be the end of the democrat party too. The “nice guy” Obama will have his weaker America faster than he wants. He won’t be welcomed anywhere. He may not be welcomed in Keyna either. Just a wild-a prediction.
