IMO you may be onto something there.
The obscene and lying rantings of the leftists are not surprising. What I don't understand is the thermonuclear castigation of Todd Akin on Freerepublic.
In the past Freerepublic posters have chastised clumsy or erroneous statements made by various conservatives (including Sarah Palin) and praised those same conservatives when they blasted Traitorobama, or Monica's ex-boyfriend, or other libtards. Todd Akin had a long conservative record in the House, even though he wasn't Palin's preference for the Missouri Senate primary.
Suddenly, a few (yes, bumbling) words about abortion (though Akin stands firmly on the GOP pro-life platform opposing abortion) and one can read here that he's an idiot, an egomaniac, and every other kind of ad hominem.
What did he do to deserve all of this? Or has Freerepublic suddenly been flooded with DUmmies?
