It isn’t stupid at all. Whatever seats the GOP wins, it will be one less than it could have been if this turd Akin would just step aside. All the BS about him being the elected candidate, when you look at the numbers in the primary, suggest that he was just lucky (or McCaskill’s money) put him over the top. The idea that he somehow pulled off a landslide and to cast him aside would be to ignore a huge victory is just not borne out by the data. Getting a comfortable margin is important, particularly since the “other evil twin from Maine” will still be with us along with assorted RINOS on whom you can depend to be unsupportive on key issues.
I agree. Have detected a ground-swell of anger among people of my age. We don’t say much, but we’re really pissed. Think maybe a landslide will bury the liberal asses.
