“Cicero always remembered his roots.”

Huh. Thanks for reminding me.

"Your post is one of the silliest and moronic posts I have ever read. "

Well I laid out my rationale and all you've done is name calling. Yet you hold me us as an example the educational system is broken. How ironic is that?

You're apparently part of the crowd that has made up their minds that 0bama and Romney don't present any significant alternatives, due to their personal prejudices and disregarding the facts.

The obvious downside for people with this attitude is that they've forfeited any control of who winds up governing, or ruling them, if they have their 'way'. On the 'plus' side, they don't really have to think about anything very hard. They've got their pat one-size-fits-all half-baked conclusion at hand already.

>> Rush Limbaugh: America ‘Could Survive Four More Years Of Obama’

The #ing, backstabbing GOP establishment is the only reason statements like these are being made.

Oh you can choose between the ruler of Mordor...

Or the leader of the white wizard...

Two Platforms to fool them all...
And in the darkness bind them.

You're apparent one of those arrogant people that assumes everyone that doesn't see things you're way must be full of their "personal prejudices" and not logical reasoning.

"disregarding the facts"
Fact: Romneycare is the same as Obamacare with only minor cosmetic differences.
Fact: Romney has always defended what he did in Massachusetts even though it has bankrupted the state.
Fact: Romney personally implemented Gay marriage despite having no law written by the legislature to allow him to do so.
Fact: Romney told the Boy Scouts that should allow gays in leadership positions.
Fact: Romney appointed homosexuals to the judiciary as governor.
Fact: Romney made conservative pro-traditional marriage speeches prior to becoming governor of Mass. But his actions were a betrayal.
Fact: Romney's own campaign manager spoke of "etch-a-sketching" campaign positions.
Fact: Romney's own wife admitted they didn't know any Republicans prior to Romney deciding to run for governor on the GOP ticket.
Fact: Romney's father said we should listen to Alinsky.

Are these the facts you accuse me of ignoring?

"The obvious downside for people with this attitude is that they've forfeited any control of who winds up governing, or ruling them, if they have their 'way'."

Unless we're right and then it's you who have forfeited any control by assuming that your vote doesn't count unless you vote for one of the two candidates the establishment has presented to you.

they don't really have to think about anything very hard.

Which of course is why I've taken apart Ryan for his short sited and narrow minded approach to the budget and presented real economic restoration plans for anyone who will listen.

"They've got their pat one-size-fits-all half-baked conclusion at hand already."

Well someone has...looking at you.

You've described yourself more exactly than I was willing to because I didn't want to be that rude. Apparently I hit home by describing the the core weakness of your attitude that you cannot deny. When you oversimplify and paint with a broad brush to the point where you claim no effective difference between Romney and 0bama, you also deny the differing influences of their parties also and any thinking person is going to call 'bullshit' on that fairy tale and rightfully so.

You don't like Romney and that's fine. He's far from my first choice. But your broad brush oversimplification here is about the least convincing conclusion you could have come up with short of the Leftist style fabrications that we all laugh at here at FR.

Leaving all the jibber-jabber and kewl graphics aside, who are you going to vote for in November?

Or, is that 'confidential'? I have this feeling you're not gonna tell. Jus' sayin'.

Anyone who is going to push the moronic idea that a Romney administration wouldn’t be far superior at managing the economy compared to the incompetent Marxists currently defiling the White House is either off their meds, being paid big time by the DNC or is rubber room material.

I'm going to vote for Virgil Goode.

I'm under no illusion that he'll win. But maybe it will send a signal to the GOP and/or provide the start for exodus if the GOP doesn't change its ways.

I watched Romney tonight. His 5 step plan hit two of the structural issues. Energy and Trade, no specifics but at least they are on his radar. He didn't address immigration or H1bs, but I realize that's a powder keg. He didn't address banking stability.

I just can't vote for Romney. Between Romneycare and gay marriage. And I know some people claim he was forced into the gay marriage. I don't buy it. He certainly wasn't forced to appoint homosexual activists to the judiciary or tell the Boy Scouts they should put gays in leadership positions. Add to that the promotion of Mormonism which is inevitable with the President being a role model.

The GOP didn't reign him in as Governor. Yet he made very conservative speeches when running for governor. They won't reign him in as President. And he's already thinking Etch-a-sketch. I have little confidence in any thing he says. I truly hope he does follow through with energy and trade. Those two could go a long way whether he does anything about the other structural issues or not.

Well, I’m not going to defend Romney to you, except against 0bama. And I’m not going to argue against your points against Romney which are true, taken by themselves. I would have liked to see Gingrich win the nomination. But I’m going to hold my nose and pull the lever for Romney because I’m an ABO guy.

Well my problem with Gingrich is his approach to free trade. Part of our unemployment problem can be attributed to some of the policies he pushed.

It was a tough selection this year. I got behind Cain until the bimbos took him down. And then I ended up voting for Santorum, who would have been okay.

Virgil Goode is actually a better candidate than anyone I saw in the GOP this time.
