I agree. Let's look at what Rush said:

“I think that the country could survive four more years of Obama,” he said. “But I don’t believe the country can survive in a country full of people who would re-elect him.”

Yup, a strong Ameria would weather obastard (for example if he was imposed on us by outside forces) easily. But the rot evident in a population that would vote for obastard TWICE is terminal. Actually, just the rot evidenced by voting for obastard once may be terminal -- we'll have to wait and see.

I’ve wondered about this in prior postings here. Rush Limbaugh puts a different spin on it, that the nation could survive Obama himself, but not survive the people who vote for him. Isn’t that like the chicken and the egg question? It’s amazing that Obama is even viable at this point. I take comfort in the 1980 election, when nearly all the undecideds broke for Ronald Reagan in the last week of the campaign. This time, Republicans are stuck with an uninspiring nominee, but maybe circumstances will force him to govern more conservatively than he had planned.

“We can handle Obama, but I don’t know what we can do about a majority of people who would re-elect the guy,” the host clarified. Limbaugh made the case that Obama is “going for the moron vote,” and he believes that the Democrats have “calculated that there a majority of morons that are going to vote, and they’re going to win them.”

Well, I cannot disagree with you Rush, but I must add that the GOP cannot continue to exist that would pick Romney to lead the ticket. I find it horrific that he could do so well and easily. People voting Democrat are intrisically “morons.” However, when Republicans vote like “morons” and pick Romney...then things are even worse than what you say Rush. I expect more from Republicans. Although I mostly blame the GOP establishment....rank and file Republicans that go along with their nonsense must share the blame.

I am really ready for a third party that is fully socially conservative, fiscally conservative, and national security conservative. No leg should go unsupported. The current GOP is too concentrated on the fiscal leg and the stool doesn’t stand right anymore. The “platform” says one thing, but the candidates do other than what it says. The GOP is becoming passe and a new party of FULL conservatives is needed. All three legs standing.

Rush is way off base. America is the people that occupy it both legal and illegal, leftist rightist and twits in the middle. An America that re-elects this arrogant moron is beyond repair.

I'm sure that Rush can survive it, but the rest of us slogs don't hsve his resources. It's an indication that he can no longer comprehend the plight of the middle class. Cicero always remembered his roots.

True. And 2014 would be the year the Republicans take over Congress bigger than the Democrats in 2006.
Remember the Democrats took over Congress in 2006 because they convinced Americans that 5.5% unemployment was too awful to sustain.

saying that it is “demoralizing” and shows that “what a good job the news media and the education system have done in dumbing down the country.”

That says it all!!! To think that this race should even be close is absurd. Couple this with an uneducated, gullible, third world invasion and the prospects for this country are bleak.

Rush, four more years means the implementation of Obamacare. There is no coming back from that.

He is right. Obama is only a symptom. The problem is that America has become like an old Oak that is rotten in the center. The thin outside of living tissue is working harder and harder to hold up the tree but eventually it will give out and the whole tree will come crashing down. I feel terrible saying that about this country but I think it is true.

My humble, honest judgment is that America has not survived Obama’s first four years.

I think we can survive, and may even do better under Obama than Romney. Here’s why.

The House is already standing up to Obama. If we make gains in the senate, we can largely shut Obama’s agenda down.

Plus typically, voters vote for the opposite party two years later during congressional races. If Obama wins this could give us the Senate and an even stronger house.

But if Romney wins, you’ll have the House GOP lining up to back Romney no matter where he leads us. And he might lead us to cosmetic changes to transform Obamacare into Romneycare, he might lead us to Gay Marriage, he might lead us to bigger government and taxes on guns. Romney is a liberal leaning wild card because he is Mr. Etch-a-sketch. You have to look at his record, and his record says he’s white Obama.

But if Romney turns out to be white Obama he won’t have the house standing in his way like Obama does. Worse, two years later, we might lose the house and senate if Romney wins the President.

And if Romney wins, it will be 8 years before the GOP nominates someone different.

That’s why I’m indifferent. I don’t like either candidate, but a Romney presidency scares me about as much as another term of Obama. It’s a yuck fest out there folks.

Not one to quibble with El Rushbo, but whatever country survived four more years of Obama - it would no longer be the United States in any democratically or economically meaningful sense.

In other words, we don’t survive an Obama re-election, I have a friend who is a True Believer and we have had email exchanges about the election. She is absolutely unhinged over the need to re-elect Obama. It is like dealing with a cult member.

They are not morons. They are Takers. Addicted to entitlements. Believing they have been screwed by unnamed people doing better than them, so they deserve them.

Makers vs takers. Go galt. Live off of savings and barter and help bring it down. No income means no taxes. No money coming in means entitlements go bye bye.

The #ing, backstabbing GOP establishment is the only reason statements like these are being made.
