Romney's Agents Stage Coup at GOP Convention

These rules do NOT have the best interests of grassroots conservatives at heart.

They are designed to cut any influence by normal republicans from all important processes.

Finally, whether adopted or not, THEY SHOW THE HEART of the liberals running the Romney show.

•     allow presidential campaigns to, in essence, “fire” duly elected delegates they don’t like and replace them with individuals of their own choosing;
•     allow changes to the Republican Party Rules between Conventions, without a vote of delegates elected by the grassroots of the Party; and
•     undo the rules regarding the primary calendar that were designed to stop the trend toward front-loading the primary season and preserve the opportunity for Republicans across the country to have a say in who their presidential candidate would be.

•     undo the rules regarding the primary calendar that were designed to stop the trend toward front-loading the primary season and preserve the opportunity for Republicans across the country to have a say in who their presidential candidate would be.

Only one purpose in this: stop reform of a system that allows 2-3 states to choose the republican candidate.

Wake up, FReepers. There is only one political party in America. It has a left and a right wing, but it is ONE PARTY. If conservatives ever want to stop America from its march toward Socialism, we have to form a third party.
