To “don’t say nothing” is to say something. The cute bunny should beware of double negatives.

What has happened to our beautiful language????

When we allow incorrect usage to pass without correction it can only get worse.

Our teachers are as much at fault for the situation. They don’t care about spelling, punctuation or usage as long as “the content is meaningful”. SHEESH!

Bambi, the Disney movie, was released in 1942. Thumper, the bunny was being admonished by his mother for saying something inappropriate at Bambi’s presentation. The language was meant to be evocative of a young, unschooled child. I am quite sure the Disney writer’s knew the proper grammar of the English language, but it would not have been useful to their intentions........
