Hurricane Isaac hesitated to move inland after first making landfall in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, Tuesday evening. The stalled storm brought copious tropical rain and a dangerous tidal surge to coastal areas of Louisiana, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle.

They probably mistook it for Plaquemine, LA. Not the same thing.

Sad, but predictable....this time the media will blame the governor, not the President.

Any cretin who would continue to live in a coastal area below sea level DESERVES exactly what they get. NO ONE is FORCED to live in this hell hole. STOP taking my hard-earned income to support these asswipe degenerates with free credit cards, free food, free housing, and free medical every year because they are too stupid to leave this fetid swamp hell-hole. Stay there and die!! We need less liberals on the planet anyway!<p

We know that the media only heads over to N.O. because they like the bars. Most of them never made it over to Gulfport 50 miles away.

So ... if we make residents of low lying areas move out in Louisiana due to the threat of hurricanes and periodic flooding, let's try the same logic in an area that really need cleansing.

Key West. How about all the Florida Keys?

Why stop there? Keep moving the evacuation zone up the coast and forcibly evacuate Miami and South Beach. (Just think of the devastation if Andrew had struck 40 miles north of Homestead).

We can play this game forever, but you won't see it on TV unless it fits the mindset of the MSM.

(Actually, I wouldn't mind a forcible evacuation of Key West, but it would shove the weirdos to Austin or someplace).

Their line will be “It’s Bush’s fault because he didn’t spend enough money on the levees.”

And they’re covering obama by making excuses. An “out in the field” reporter on CNN just said “If you’re going to be rescued it’ll be by your neighbor.”

The anchorette said “Well, there’s so much debris on the road pick up trucks and rescuers can’t get to them.”

Apparently Bush had pickup trucks that could drive over trees but chose not to use them because he’s a racist

As a Texan I hope Rick Perry keeps his damned rino mouth shut. After Katrina he opened up Texas and said “Come on over!”
