There was a lot of young talent on hand for the GOP last night. I love the fact that there are Black Republicans who totally destroy the stereotype of Democrat black politicians who are bowing, fetching, tap-dancin', hat-in-hand Stepin Fetchits for their lily-white Democrat overlords like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

I must be a little slow on the uptake, but I hadn’t heard of Mia Love until yesterday. Her speech at the convention was good, so I wanted to learn more.

Republicans have a very deep bench ot talent, that’s for sure. It’s a very encouraging sign. Hopefully this new generation will transform the “stupid party” into a potent political force that will change the direction of the country. But for now, job #1 is getting the Usurper out of power with the team we have.

African-American support for the Republican Party has fallen so far that a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll showed Mitt Romney capturing 0.0% of the black vote.
