He follows in a line of British statesmen and jurists whose admiration for the beauty and architecture of the American Constitution has been eloquently expressed:
The American Constitution is "the most wonderful work ever struck off at a given moment by the brain and purpose of man." - Sir William Gladstone

What the anti-Federalists feared during the Constitutional Convention has come about, to much power of the central government.
Madison pleaded with the anti-Federalists to adopted the constitution with the promise that there would also be a Bill of Rights to go with the US Constitution.
What some have feared that the adoption and ratification of the US Constitution would do if create a out of control powerful central government has come to pass and we live with it today.
I am not saying that there is anything wrong with US Constitution it's self, for it's the best form of government, principles that this world has ever seen, but, as the old saying goes, to much power corrupts.
The the problem we see today has happened is that some have trampled on the US Constitution, or have disregard not only the letter of what the Constitution meant, but, the spirit of the US Constitution :
***** LIMITED GOVERNMENT HAS NO POWER OVER THE PEOPLE, BUT THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER OVER THE GOVERNMENT. *****
