Then how about giving a substantive reason why a minor gaffe disqualifies Akin, other than the a bunch of liberals screaming "game over," and people like you agreeing with them?

This may be a minor gaffe to you, but to the Dems it is a gift! The Dems will use this statement by Akin as a virtual club to beat the conservative candidates as soon as it is too late for him to withdraw. This is real world, dirty, Missouri democrat politics, and they will destroy Akin.
Akin has been pretty scarce since this happened. If he can’t face the people now, what will he do in the last few weeks of the campaign?
