Look I happen to think this comparison is exactly right, but not because of the boogeyman nonsense:

• Both are soulless creations of the media

• MSM covered for Tiger's sex addiction and most-fined-ever transgressions -- he curses after almost ever bad shot and smacks clubs on the ground tee-to-green
• MSM covered for Obama so much we have found lies piled on top of lies in the subsequent 4 years. It will take decades to get all of the truth

• Tiger's last major -- the year Obama was elected
• Obama's last steady 50+ approval rating -- 2009, same year Tiger was exposed as an ugly and particularly unchoosy philanderer

• Both have attempted mostly lame comebacks in the past year
• Tiger has beaten a couple of uninspiring fields but sucked wind in majors (40th, 21st, 11th) and the FexEx. His knee and his back are shot
• Obama, well, he plays a lot of golf and fancies himself Tiger when he doesn't duff a 3-iron. He hopes he'll win by being liked. Meanwhile, the country is nose-diving into a double-dip recession

• Anyone who knows golf knows Jack's record is safe
• Anyone who knows politics knows Mittens has this in the bag
