I don’t give a crap what 90% of the public feels. I’ll stand on principle, even if I stand alone.

Because one day - there’s this Judgment Seat - and there will be an accounting.

You do not compromise with evil for expedience in vain attempt to deprive the vote for the other Statist.

We tried this same damn thing with McCain and Palin in 2008.

The results in 2012 will be no different.

And it is the GOP Ruling Class that ensured that is exactly what will happen.

They hate conservatives every bit as much as the MarxoFascists do. And we’ve just been rendered neuter by Team Romney.

If Romney really wants to win the presidency - then he will be doing it without us - because he just tossed us out to the dogs to pander to the Insider Class.

Don’t worry. The GOPe will have COMPLETE control over everything next cycle and they’ll run things the right way.

McCain did not fight an Obama who still had the bloom on his rose. You want to compare that to Mitt vs. a race card that is now tattered to pieces? HA!

"WE KNOW for a fact that...

If we know that for a fact, which we don't, then let the GOP-E start a congressional investigation, and impeach him. Don't blame the Christian right for all these things, when the GOP-E has cowardly sat on their hands.

Right. Can’t turn around a battleship. So what the hell does it matter who gets elected?

How can you say it was “the establishment” when it was our fellow Republicans who voted Romney to be our candidate? The majority obviously believed he had the best chance of winning.

I sent Newt and Cain money but even I have to admit that Romney is more likely to beat Obama.

If the Republicans can’t beat the second coming of Jimmy Carter, even without throwing us a bone or two, they don’t deserve to win.

You joined in April to promote Romney. OK, that’s good to know.

You are 100% correct.

I remember WAAAAAY back in the primary season virtually everyone here at FR hated Romney. And I remember Jim saying that FR would not be used as a Romney cheering ground.

Now that is virtually all we are seeing on FR.

Everyone is believing what Romney SAYS, and are not looking at what he has DONE when in office. He was a disaster: Romney-care; Anti-2nd Amendment; liberal judges; raised taxes (oh excuse me he called them fees); etc....

He is as phony as a 3 dollar bill. I just don't understand the huge turnaround in support for him here at FR.

I would figure that the House & Senate are all we can concentrate on at this point. Romney is a wrong and lost cause.

Bull! what happened was that a herd of cats could not get its act together in the primaries, and left Mitt to walk away with the nomination by default. Look to the primaries if you want a post mortem on why we have pitiful Mitt.

With the support of the Mainstream Media.

What’s sickening to me is all the pandering going on at the convention.

“We’re so concerned about the victims of the tropical storm and they’re in our prayers.”

“We love everyone.”

“It’s all about love.”

“The president, what’s his name, is a wonderful man who doesn’t mean to harm the country. He’s just in a little over his head.”

Give me a break. Anyone can see this phony crap for what it is. This is not a convention of conservatives.

If Obama wins it will because more people vote for him than vote for Romney.

At least blacks know who they'll vote for.

America would be better off if Governor Romney loses to Obama to show America just how bad the Republican Party is. America is morally bankrupt and needs to suffer more to bring the nation back to God.

"How can you say it was “the establishment” when it was our fellow Republicans who voted Romney to be our candidate?"

The establishment has been pushing Romney for 4 years. I think they purposely encouraged conservatives to split the conservative vote so that Romney would win the nomination. And I think they worked in league with the MSM to take down conservatives as needed to ensure Romney's place.

On the otherhand, maybe Romney just lucked out and there was no GOP-E conspiracy to hand the nomination to Romney. It doesn't matter. I won't vote for Romney.

If the majority of Republicans wanted Romney, and I don't think they did, it just worked out that way. Then the majority of Republicans ought to be happy with whoever wins, because Romney is just like Obama.

The ABR crowd has some valid concerns, but their argument that there is no difference between him and Obama is absurd.

I actually think most of them are dieing to be able to come on here and gloat after a Romney loss. They would rather Obama win and be “right” than have Romney win and hope he is able to pass some critically needed reforms.

Ultimately, their ideological purity comes with a cost — a tragic cost if it helps lead to the reelection of the Kenyan Marxist. They certainly won’t be solely to blame if it does happen. The GOPe deserves its share of blame as well.

I just hope the country will be able to survive the consequences.
