Exactly right. Eastwood said some tough things in an eccentric way. If they only read a transcript of what he said people would cheer because he spoke the truth.
As for the reaction from the Left - what else are they going to do? The truth is like poison ivy to them and they get to itching. Did the Left give ANY speaker a big thumbs up?
