However, we do live in a free society and some balance must be given to a reluctance to have the State stand between a citizen and their medical decisions.

So in the end, despite your own earlier arguments, you consider abortion to ultimately be nothing more than a "medical decision", moral aspects be damned?

Isn't such thinking exactly what got America to the point we're at today?

Uhh, no.

I think abortion should be permitted to save the life of the mother, inj cases of rape and to prevent a really montrous birth where the fetus has no chance of survival or survival would result in a painful life.

Otherwise, I would out law aboritons.

My comments were directed in that reference specifically to the above exceptions.

What got America to this situation today is Hugh Hefner and the “Playboy Philosophy”, rejection of Biblical teachings and atheizing our society.

What you said. Like+1.

Haven't had a lot of time for the Akin threads, but here and there before work would read through some to see what fellow FReepers were saying or feeling about Akin.

Wasn't good for my blood pressure I guess so I got it out of my system by editing my home page.

Now I sit back and chuckle.
