If I were advising the McCaskill team, I would never recommend that for a game plan. Can you imagine pitching that to the team? "Let's wait until four weeks before the election, fully after the time when this issue is settled in everyone's mind, around the time everyone is sick to death of hearing about it, and then our side will do a media blast to bring it around all over again." Yeah, not a winner. If that is the best team McCaskill can produce, the election is all but over for her.
