Dateline Tampa: Racists of the Mainstream Media
PJ Media ^ | 8/29/2012 | Roger L. Simon

...The left/liberal need to think Republicans and conservatives racists is more than just projection. At this point, it is nothing short of a mental illness. It is so far divorced from reality, it has to be pathological. No longer are these people able to observe reality with anything close to impartiality. We are not in the world of politics, ladies and gentlemen. We are in the world of Freud, Jung, Adler, and people bouncing off walls.

If you think the left has already worked themselves into a lather, just wait until October.

Limbaugh made a great point about this story: "Updated Yahoo on Wednesday said it had fired David Chalian, the Web site’s Washington bureau chief, after he was recorded at the Republican National Convention saying that the convention officials were 'happy to have a party with black people drowning.'"

Limbaugh reminded us that MSM employees "report" this everyday in one form or another. The MSM employee often has to find a man in the street or an employee of a university to say it.. but one way or another MSM employees report everyday that Republicans / conservatives are "happy to have a party with black people drowning."

In his own bizarre way, David Chalian has become the poster boy for Election 2012. His story has gripped this convention because everyone knows he is not all that exceptional.

I'll bet there's a lot more gays at ABC than conservatives... And gays are 2% of the population. I'll bet there's more people from Asia working in ABC News than there are conservatives... Journalists are bigoted, narrow minded haters.

I see that the author of the article made the same point as I quoted Rush above..

in response to both I would like to add a favorite quote of mine:

". . . some key [events] exacerbated the national debate, fraying trust, and national cohesion just a little more each time . . . The two-party system that had governed America . . . begin to fall apart . . . interest in politics took the place of all other forms of news-related entertainment . . . politicians were the celebrities . . . [Politics/ideology] was becoming such a habit, the reactions so automatic, that [journalists] taking sides on every news story became inevitable."

.. I just can't avoid thinking about this from for Love & Liberty by Robin Young and it's about 1857 America.

I like this author -- good article, he gets right down to it. Think he listens to Mike Savage?

Marxists working-up for their "revolution".

It'll be their death sentence.

What we think of as “mainstream press” isn’t, they are DNC.

We are used to thinking of them as “biased” toward the left or biased toward the DNC. That misses the truth of it. They aren’t biased toward the left, they are the left. They aren’t biased toward the DNC, they are DNC.

Great point. Great post.

The content of the post is so obviously true. Knee-jerk reactions masquerading as political thought.

The historical context (1857) also speaks volumes and tells us that this has been seen before (and the outcome wasn’t pretty).

The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

I recall the days before the TV networks dominated MSM when cities had liberal and conservative newspapers.

Thanks to the end of the "Fairness Doctrine" and thanks to modern talk radio and the 'Net we now have political free speech again.

But employees of the MSM purport to be reporting objectively and truthfully and citizens who do not agree with them are extremists who have no claim to human rights. (When was the last time you heard a MSM employee acknowledge "unalienable rights"?)

Those employees are aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radicals (psycho spoiled brats) and their bratty ideological issue. Spoiled brats do not have to be rich kids.. if not spawned by psychological factors or upbringing they're trained spoiled brats of the "Rules For Spoiled Brats" variety.

November may be the last chance we have to put an end to something loosed decades ago to avoid . . . .

This is from someone who a 160 years ago was Abeble to explain it. This time we have enough professional military and LEO to handle it -- if it comes to that. IMO.

If we could first know where we are and whither we are tending, we could better judge what to do and how to do it. We are now far into the fifth [decade] since a policy was initiated with the avowed object and confident promise of [tolerating Marxist-Alinsky] agitation. Under the operation of that policy, that agitation has not only not ceased but has constantly augmented [to where there are arguably two Americas]. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half [statist] and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other. Either the opponents of [statism] will arrest the further spread of it and place it where the public mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate extinction, or its advocates will push it forward till it shall become [accepted] in all the states, [Red and Blue], North as well as South.

This is what Abe would be talking about today:

Great point, marron.

I've been saying the same thing for years.

People claim the MSM are the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party.

No!

The Democratic Party is the political wing of the MSM.
