SAN ANTONIO - A woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed outside her child's school Tuesday morning.
The attack happened around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday outside the Bonham Academy on St. Mary's Street. Teresa Barron, 38, had just dropped off her child at the school when the child's father showed up, and the two got into an argument. The child's father, 38-year-old Roberto Barron allegedly then stabbed the woman several times in the upper body and neck area.
Police say a bystander who happened to be a concealed handgun license holder pulled his weapon and ordered Barron to drop the knife. Barron surrendered and was taken into custody by the bystander and a school district officer.
The woman was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.
Barron was arrested for aggravated assault, and is in jail on a $150,000 bond.
Just think what would have happened if this would have happened in a Safe Gun Free City like Chicago.

We should have signs, "Caution: In Texas Crimes Will Be Interrupted By Skilled Law Respecting Gunmen."
I don’t care if that was the kid’s father and I was the one pointing the gun. I would send wad cutters through his effing neck for the battery of that woman.

Why would a judge set such a low bail for someone that would certainly skip town based on such an evil and brutal crime?
If the perp was facing me, it would be very hard to not release the hammer after witnessing that.

Yea but here where I live in Kalifornia, I’d be doing a dime in pound-me-in-the-ass San Quentin despite being not guilty.
Now this wouldn’t of happened if they had just banned guns…… ohh wait.
I’m sure this type of story were once again a gun in the hands of a civilian on the scene saved a life will be all over the news…
Having spent a good many years in CA myself, you are correct.....sad to say. Used to be a great state; now it’s a bankrupt, corrupt s**thole.
I thought school zones were gun free zones. I never bother anyway since its like fishing, they cant catch all of us.

Would be interesting to find out the back story of this, would bet that she is not just some innocent snowflake with a psycho husband. More than likely she’s been using the family courts to make his life a living hell and to keep the kids from him out of pure spite. Everyone has their breaking point and I would imagine that this woman found out where her ex-husbands was the hard way. Too bad all the way around but it happens.
