Mitt passed the Michigan bar exam in July 1975 and was admitted to practice law there the next year.

No, you are wrong in both the technical sense and way way off in the practical sense. In the technical sense, passing the bar allows you to become a lawyer but does not mean you must do so. And the comment from Clint about lawyers was clearly meant to mean folks who litigate instead of being involved in real life and real business. I am sorry that went by you .
