That’s just ludicrous. That would make a Wyoming citizen’s vote worth 46 times that of a Texan’s. Your solution goes to far in the other direction and creates a system that is even more unfair.

Two of the many components that make someone a Liberal are:
1. Total lack of historical knowledge.
2. Complete ignorance on the Constitution and why it was specifically written the way that it was.
Gore. He has these.

Getting rid of the Electoral College will mean turning over the presidency to about five of the most populated states. That was the reason for the EC, so that wouldnt happen. The next thing the Dems will start proposing is to reduce the number of Senators. Why should Wyoming have the same number of Senators as California? Their goal is simple: total control of the system and the masses; in other words - TYRANNY!!!

Sure but it would be fun to propose this just to watch the left's head explode at the mere thought of this.

Who gives a rat’s hindquarters what the hypocrital Fat Algore thinks about anything? He’s been so wrong about so much since about 1990 that if he claimed that the sky was blue, I’d look up just to check it out.
Its about time for another snowstorm to cancel one of his Globull Worming speeches.

Liberals hate it that we have 50 independent and sovereign states with powers outside of the Federal Government.
This “end the E. College” stuff is another just another step to dissolve the states.

The call to end the Electoral College pops up during elections for America’s president....’ol Al just can’t resist trying to get his name in ink is a given, so using that tactic as no one has asked him to do anything he is shouting under the political shower. Wipe the sweat off the shower door when you leave Al...............

People accept that baseball games are decided by the number of runs scored, not the number of hits.
People accept that the World Series is decided by the number of games won, not the number of overall points scored or overall number of hits.
People accept that football games are scored by the number of points scored, not the number of yards gained.
If you define an ideal voting system as one which maximizes the possibility that a single individual can turn the outcome of an election by their one vote, the Electoral College is it.

Seems to me, Al, it wouldn’t have been an issue IF YOU HAD NOT LOST THE VOTE COUNT IN YOUR HOME STATE.

Even worse, it is a transformation from a Constitutional Republic to a Democracy where the majority can legally screw the minority.
