Rove is an oddball. Krystal is misguided. I must have seen a piece of a rerun of the Krystal comments. Open amnesty, Krystal and Rove agree on that, I think, is a terrible idea, if for no other reason than it gives all the financial benefits of being American and none of the costs. IOW, it’s bankrupting us.

The US should have kept Mexico when Winfield Scott conquered it. We would have fixed it by now.

Rove is an oddball.

Okay, I'll agree if I can insert "...a conceited ass and..." in there.

Krystal is misguided.

Okay, I'll buy that description.  What that means is, he needs to be replaced by someone who isn't misguided and has at least ten times the comprehension of Conservatism he has.  He short circuits our cause constantly.  We actually win a discussion, and he sumarizes it by conceeding everything.  He just doesn't get it.  We need a better spokesperson.

They always pass this off as something the Republicans are guilty of.  It's their take that if you believe in the sanctity of our laws, our Constitution, and our sovereignty, you're a xenophobe, end of story.

Anotherwords, they have the same exact vision of a fix for illegal immigrants, that John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, George Soros, and the worst of the worst Leftists have.  And yet, they pretend to talk for us.  Like hell they do.

The US should have kept Mexico when Winfield Scott conquered it. We would have fixed it by now.

I can sympathize with that view, considering what we've endured over the last 25 years.  The fact is, we had no more right to Mexico, than Mexico had to the Western North American continent.  Indians were the true land-holders in the West.  Mexico never owned it.  Spain claimed it, but they never made serious attempts to occupy it.  They made up massive land grants out of whole cloth.  When Span left, they let Mexico have them by default.  Within 25 years, the United States had defeated Mexico, and paid for the Western territories.  The idea this was traditionally Mexican territory, is a joke.

What we have today, is for the most part the decendents of Spain, going against the decendents of Northern Europeans.  Mexico?  Like I say, it mostly a joke.

Let's run this by the Mexican nationals.  If 30 million U. S. Citizens traveled to Mexico and took over the capital and all surrounding territory, would they think it was okay?

Crickets!
